Festive Food Market at Forty Hall Farm

We're getting excited about our Food Fest spin off Christmas at Forty Hall Farm on December 10th 2017.

it promises to be an afternoon full of food, drink and merriment, complete with roast chestnuts and even eggnog!

Enjoy a tramp around the farm, see the animals settling down for winter and gather your greenery from the Farm’s trees and hedgerows to make your wreath. Then head back to the Black Barn to create your festive door wreath to take home.

Join food historian and writer Angela Clutton as she prepares her winning egg-nog, and author and food blogger Ren Behan as she creates traditional Polish festive biscuits.  Enjoy lunch with seasonal hot street food and stay cosy with warming mulled cider, spiced apple juice and other seasonal tipples.

Once you’ve filled your boots, there’ll be time to stock up on award-winning local produce and festive food and gifts; including our very own Forty Hall Vineyard wine, Holtwhite’s award-winning Christmas bakery, the urban cheese-maker Wildes Cheese and Old Bakery Gin, plus midwinter organic produce from the farm and lots more!

Free entry to the Farm all day: 11am – 4pm. Wreath-making: £4 per wreath. Suitable for families, but children must be accompanied by an adult.

Please bring scissors or secateurs if you have them (though some will be available to borrow for a small deposit). Wrap up warm and don’t forget your wellies!
