The Enfield Food Festival's mission is to shine a light on the food producers in and around Enfield.  As part of our work, we are also hoping to set up a Local Food Forum to bring together local food producers and retailers, as well as prospective new businesses that are registered, operating or trading in the Borough of Enfield.  This initiative is backed by Enfield Council who actively support the Festival and also want to help new and established food businesses to thrive.

The Forum would aim to provide Enfield’s local food sector with an opportunity to network; to consider how Enfield Council could most usefully support small food businesses; and to encourage us to work together more closely. We hope to find new ways of supporting the local food enterprises in Enfield, and maybe even collaborate to set up new ones!

To begin, we are asking small food businesses who are registered or trading in the borough to take part in a short survey, to share with us their ideas on what the Food Forum might do and how it could be most useful.

The survey will take about 5 minutes to complete and can be found online here:

Deadline for responses is Friday 2nd February 2018

If you have any questions about the proposal, or would like to feedback directly on the idea of a Local Food Forum, feel free to contact Kate kate.mcgeevor@capel.ac.uk or Emma hello@thefoodgatherer.com
